Meet Asim Jafri: Rising Indian Bollywood Film Casting Director From Fatehpur

Asim Jafri is an upcoming Bollywood filmmaker. He has started his career as a  theatre artist. He has given life to many lead and side characters. Besides acting, he has directed some of the plays too. He is majorly known for casting in Bollywood films.

After the theatre, he has made his debut in Bollywood TV series and short films. In the Bollywood film industry, he is famous as a casting director. He has cast some famous films and Hindi TV series like Sragaal, Manzar and Teri Laadli Main which was telecasted in Star Utsav.

Asim is 28 years old. He was born on 15th August 1993 in a small district of  Uttar Pradesh, Fatehpur.

Asim has done his early schooling from his birthplace, Kanpur in Mercy Memorial School Kanpur. He is a Profession-Writer and Casting Director. He has also played some supporting roles and lead roles.

As a matter of fact, he was a Very Dull and Dumb Student in School. He never had a filmmaker’s attitude and personality. He had worked very hard to change his Attitude and Personality and Became a Successful Casting Director. He also enhanced his skills in a filming school, MAAC.

In a talk with our team, he told us that he will be back in the theatre soon after a gap of more than a year.  Playing The Parallel Lead Role of ASI Chaubey in a Theatre Play named Ye Police Thana Hai Which is Written and Directed by Ashraam’s (Web Series) Fame Actor and Director Jabbar Akram. The play is planned for October 2021.

He is also playing a Supporting Lead role in an upcoming Bollywood Movie with Ravi Kisan. The name of the movie is Sragaal. The Movie is based on Famous Theatre Play Ek Aur Dronacharya written by Shankar Shesh. Asim has also worked in this Movie As Casting Associate. He is also working in Music Videos With Singer Vishal Mishra and Actress Navina Bole. We wish the self-made talent All the best for his future journey.
